We attended the LoRaWAN World Expo in Paris for the first time this summer. It was the first time the event was able to take place since the COVID-19 outbreak, and the excitement of everyone to be in a room and interact in person was palpable.
We went hoping that we would be able to connect with stakeholders across the LoRaWAN community, and that is exactly what happened. We met with many other businesses and industries that make use of LoRaWAN technology, saw some really impressive products, and attended several panels and lectures about the latest common practices for LoRaWAN.
Our CEO Matt Johnson gave a speech titled "Connecting every surface of the smart building to the cloud with sensors that install like stickers and tape", which was followed by a packed Q&A session.
One of our favorite parts was the LoRaWAN Device Wall where various businesses showcased their sensors or gateways, highlighting the wide range of LoRaWAN-enabled devices that are out there.
We are looking forward to attending the event again next year, where we will have a stand where we can showcase our latest Severn and Trent products.
